A dialogue with doctors

On 5 June 2024, activists of the Volunteer Centre organised a meeting with doctors from the “L7” clinic on the territory of the Biological Building of the Dagestan State Medical University.

As part of an event organised by medical volunteers, doctors from the Breast Centre held a meeting with students. The invited guests were doctors from the clinic who gave interesting and relevant lectures. Among them: Anastasia Nurieva, Tamara Nuraeva and Fatima Tamaeva.

The aim of the meeting was not only to familiarise future specialists with the peculiarities of work in the field of mammology, but also to provide practical knowledge on topical issues related to women’s health.

During the lecture, doctors comprehensively reviewed with students the causes of skin problems, ways to prevent them, recommendations on the choice of care cosmetics, taking into account the individual characteristics of the skin and the purpose of the product, as well as the most common diseases of breast diseases, such as mastopathy, cysts, cancer, their symptoms, methods of diagnosis and treatment.

The meeting was held in the format of a lively discussion, which allowed students to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers from experienced doctors.

Thanks to the event, medical students gained valuable knowledge and experience, learnt more about mammology practice, which will help them in their future professional activities. 

The participants of the event thanked the guests for an interesting and important meeting, had an opportunity to ask questions and just have a heart-to-heart dialogue. The meeting ended with a round of applause.
