A festive concert dedicated to the National Unity Day was held at the Scientific and Educational Innovation Center of Dagestan State Medical University on Thursday, November 3. The event was organized by the Cultural Center. The concert program began with the anthem of the Russian Federation. And then the activist of the Center of Culture, 2nd year student Daniyal Shabanov performed the patriotic song “Russia».

  The leadership of the university, represented by Acting Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Digital Transformation Jamila Omarova, Acting Vice–Rector for Public Relations and Social and Educational Work Elmira Abieva and her assistants Arsen Aigumov and Bilal Pirmagomedov also came to attend the solemn event.

E.Abieva addressed the audience with a welcoming speech: “I cordially congratulate you all on one of the most important state holidays in Russia – National Unity Day. This holiday reminds us that we are citizens of the same country, people of different ages, different nationalities, different beliefs but with common roots and a common future. The future depends on you and me, on our unity, on our faith in the future. I am sure that our youth will not only become the keeper of traditions, but will also multiply the good traditions of our society. I wish you all good health, good luck, and success for the good of our great Motherland of Russia!”

Then the floor was given to a colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a war veteran and a participant in hostilities Nariman Abdulmagomedov. He also congratulated all those present on the holiday and at the same time urged students to be diligent in their studies, so that later they would become the best in their field. In addition, Nariman Abdulmagomedov noted that all citizens of Russia should be in unity and friendly relations, regardless of nation and origin.

After the guests were waiting for incendiary dances, songs and poems, both in Russian and in Darginsky, Kumyk, Chechen, Georgian languages. The activists of the Cultural Center demonstrated excellent talent and skills. So, Gajimurad Gajiyev and Sultan Musaev performed a dance with drums. Samira Ramazanova sang the song «My Dagestan», Soltanat Gadzhieva  -the song «Vera», Hadzhimurad Pashtaev – the song «Beauty». The ensemble of Cultural Center of DSMU also pleased the audience with choreographic performances: Georgian and Chechen dances.

 The event was held in an incredibly exciting patriotic atmosphere!
