A Job Fair was held at DSMU

A large-scale event, the «Job Fair,» was held at the DSMU Scientific and Educational Innovation Center. The event was organized by the Career and Competency Development Center in collaboration with the DSMU Volunteer Center. Thanks to the organizers’ efforts, the venue became a venue for a lively dialogue between future specialists and their potential employers.

The program opened with welcoming remarks from Elmira Akhmedova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Naida Mollaeva, Vice-Rector for Research, who noted the importance of integrating education and practical experience. Madina Musayeva, Head of Department at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Dagestan, representatives of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Dagestan, and Said Ibragimov, Head of the Employment Department at the Makhachkala Employment Center, joined the discussion. Elena Varik (Servier) spoke about prospects in the pharmaceutical industry. The online segment resonated particularly well with young people: DSMU graduates Patimat Abdulkhalimova and Murtazali Ramazanov, who are successfully working in Nizhnekamsk, shared their personal experiences of launching their careers.

In the main part of the fair, speakers and students discussed in detail the legal intricacies of finding work while studying. The discussion focused on finding a balance between the educational process and acquiring practical skills. Participants examined realistic work schedules and career prospects after completing residency. Key elements included learning how to recognize advantageous offers and adhere to medical ethics in labor relations.

The event concluded with a summary and words of sincere gratitude to the organizers and distinguished guests.
