On June 26, a round table was held with doctors of GBU RD Makhachkala Maternity Hospital No. 1 under the leadership of Professor Asiyat Esedova, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the pediatric, Dental and Preventive Medicine faculties. The doctors were presented with a report on one of the current topics, «Features of pre-pregnancy preparation in order to increase the chances of pregnancy in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).»

PCOS is one of the most common causes of female infertility, requiring a special approach when planning pregnancy. During the presentation, the expert analyzed modern methods of diagnosis, correction of hormonal disorders and management tactics for patients with this diagnosis. Special attention was paid to pre—pregnancy training, a set of measures aimed at increasing the likelihood of conception and reducing the risk of complications during pregnancy. «Timely and proper preparation of women with PCOS for pregnancy significantly increases their chances of having a healthy child,» she stressed. Esedova.

The event aroused great interest among practicing obstetricians and gynecologists, endocrinologists and reproductive specialists. The doctors discussed clinical cases, shared their experiences and asked questions to the speaker.
