A meeting with a representative of the Andijan GMI was held in DSMU

On 2 July, the Rector of Dagestan State Medical University, Visampasha Khanaliev, received the Dean of the Dentistryl Faculty of Andijan State Medical Institute, Dilshod Tulanov.

The visit was timed to coincide with the upcoming graduation of the first students from the Republic of Uzbekistan studying under dual degree programmes. This year, 16 students are successfully completing their studies.

Visampasha Khanaliev thanked the guest for fruitful cooperation, noting that students from Uzbekistan were highly active, disciplined and felt at home

Dilshod Tulanov conveyed words of greetings and best wishes from the rector of ASMI, Madamin Madazimov, and expressed gratitude to the rector of DGMU V.Y. Khanaliev, dean’s office of the faculty and teaching staff of the university for warm and sensitive attitude to students from Uzbekistan.

It was also emphasised that cooperation with DSMU is a priority for the Andijan Institute, and the work of the Dental Faculty of the University serves as an example for imitation in all directions.

The meeting was attended by Rector’s Assistant Yakub Fedorov, Dean of the Dentistry Faculty Tagir Abakarov and Head of the International Department Raisa Kurbanova.
