A student of DSMU took the second place in the Republican Student Contest ‘Victory will echo in everyone’s heart’

Zayginat Buchayeva, a student of Dagestan State Medical University, activist of the Cultural Centre of DSMU, took the second place in the republican student competition ‘Victory will echo in everyone’s heart’, which took place on April 23 in the poetry theatre. The recitation contest was timed to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The main goal of the competition is to foster patriotic feelings towards the homeland, respect for the immortal military feat and heroes of the Great Patriotic War in young people. The competition is also aimed at popularising the best examples of Russian poetry and the art of art reading, developing students’ creative abilities and forming a lasting interest in the art of recitation.

In addition, the event involves the identification of bright creative individuals and contributes to the preservation and development of the best traditions of Russian national literature, forming patriotism and respect for the past of our homeland.
