All-Russian Open Lesson of Life Safety Cultures was held in DSMU

Dagestan State Medical University represented by the Department of Life Safety and Disaster Medicine with students of medical, paediatric, dental and pharmaceutical faculties joined the All-Russian open lesson on life safety culture timed to coincide with the celebration of World Civil Defence Day. The event took place on the 3rd of March.

The guests of the event were: Shamil Shabanov, Head of the Civil Defence Events Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Republic of Dagestan; Rasul Rasulov Rasulov, Head of the Department of Civil Defence and Emergency Situations of DSMU; Magomed Shamov, Assistant Dean of the Dental Faculty of DSMU.

The event was opened by the Head of the Department Patimat Rabadanova, who greeted everyone on behalf of the Rector of DSMU Visampasha Khanaliev and noted the importance and significance of the celebration of the World Civil Defence Day.

Sh. Shabanov in his speech emphasised the tasks of RSChS and CS in the general system of protection of population and territory from emergencies of different nature in the Russian Federation.

  1. Rasulov, Head of the Department of Civil Defence and Emergency Situations of DSMU, noted the importance of training the population in the field of civil defence.

Presentations were made by: student A. Pashayeva on the topic ‘Main directions of civil defence activities’; student G. Khurdaeva on the topic ‘Technical means of individual and collective protection’.

The event was lively, students and teachers actively participated in it, asking questions of interest.
