Career expo held at DSMU

A large-scale event — «Job Fair» took place at the Scientific and Educational Innovation Center of DSMU. The event was organized by the Center for Career and Competence Development together with activists of the Volunteer Center of DSMU. Thanks to the efforts of the organizers, the site has become a place of lively dialogue between future specialists and their potential employers.

The program opened with welcoming words from Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Elmira Akhmedova and Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs Naida Mollaeva, who noted the importance of integrating education and practice. Madina Musaeva, head of the department of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Dagestan, representatives of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Dagestan and Said Ibragimov, head of the employment department of the CPC of Makhachkala, joined the discussion. Elena Varik (Servier company) spoke about the prospects in pharmaceuticals. A special response among young people was caused by a block of online inclusions: graduates of DSMU Patimat Abdulkhalimova and Murtazali Ramazanov, who successfully work in Nizhnekamsk, shared their personal experience of a career start.

In the main part of the fair, speakers and students analyzed in detail the legal subtleties of registration for work without interruption from study. The discussion focused on finding a balance between the educational process and gaining practical skills. The participants considered real work schedules and career prospects after the end of the residency. The key point was training in the skills of recognizing profitable offers and compliance with medical ethics in labor relations.
