Conference «Volunteering in DSMU»

On March 14, 2024 in the Scientific and Educational Innovation Center of Dagestan State Medical University the conference «Volunteering in DSMU: work experience, results and development prospects» was held.

The presidium of the conference consisted of Yakub Fedorov, Assistant Rector for Security, Iskhak Irbaykhanov, Advisor to the Rector, Amurbek Kachabekov, Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Social and Educational Work, Raisa Shakhsinova, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Regional Branch of the Russian Red Cross, and Asiyat Abakarova, a specialist of the Movement of the First.

Welcoming the volunteers, Amurbek Kachabekov pointed out the prospects of development of the Volunteer Center, wished the activists new ideas and achievements, and awarded commendations to distinguished students for their special contribution to volunteer activities.

At the beginning of the conference, Gunay Huseynova, head of the DCMU VC, made a report. Then, R. Shakhsinova, head of the regional branch of the RCC, told about the work of volunteers with other organizations in the report «Interaction between the RCC and DSMU».

Within the framework of the event, the work of the Volunteer Center was highlighted by the heads of departments, providing the guests with their presentations and telling about the main directions, the results of the past year, the effectiveness of their work and plans for the coming months.

Summarizing the results of the event, the former head of the Volunteer Center of DGMU A. Abakarova told about the interaction with the Movement of the First and gave the volunteers advice on the organization and direction of further work.
