Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia at DSMU — 2025

A solemn event dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia was held at Dagestan State Medical University. The concert was organized by activists of the University’s Cultural Center under the leadership of Natalia Zalieva.

The main purpose of the evening was to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Russia living in our region, as well as to create an atmosphere of unity and tolerance among students and teachers of the university. The event contributed to the development of cultural exchange and popularization of the wealth of national traditions.

The event began with the solemn performance of the Anthems of Russia, Dagestan and the State Medical University.

The concert program included bright vocal and dance performances in Russian and national languages, presented by students of the Moscow State Medical University. Among the artists are Kamila Gadzhieva, Amina Lametova, Daniyal Shabanov, Alina Farmanova, Samira Ramazanova and many others, as well as the ensemble of the Heart of the Caucasus Cultural Center and the Kinoten group.

The audience enthusiastically accepted the performances, demonstrating the diversity of cultures and traditions of the peoples of Russia, which emphasized the importance of unity and mutual respect. In addition, the program included a screening of videos dedicated to the history and cultural peculiarities of the country’s peoples.

The Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia at DSMU 2025 became a bright holiday that united the university staff and inspired them to further strengthen friendship and cooperation in a multinational society.
