Derbent schoolchildren were told about the rules of admission to DSMU

On behalf of the rector of the Dagestan State Medical University, Professor Visampashi Khanaliev, as part of a systematic career guidance work aimed at attracting motivated graduates of the republic’s schools to enter DSMU, a trip to the city of Derbent took place.

The delegation of DSMU included: Dean of the Pharmaceutical and Medical-Preventive Faculty Gasbulla Barkaev, Associate Professors of the Department of Pharmacy Sabina Kaibova, Madina Garumova and Timur Ibragimov. The event was held on the basis of school number 20, where students of grades 9-11 of Derbent schools, teachers and parents were invited.

The first deputy chairman of the Assembly of Deputies of the city district «city of Derbent» also became guests of honor of the meeting. Magomed Magomedov, head of the education department of Derbent Chimnaz Aliyev and director of secondary school No. 20 Dilara Abieva.

In her opening remarks, the deputy head of the city assembly in the field of education, Magomedov, thanked the leadership of the DSMU for their attention to the city’s educational institutions and focused on the personnel request of the region. «The city and the republic are in dire need of competent specialists — doctors, pharmacists, epidemiologists. You are our future. And the sooner you start preparing for admission, the more confident your steps will be in the profession,» he stressed.

Chimnaz Aliyev and Dilara Abieva also spoke to the schoolchildren.
