On November 14, 2025, an open discussion was held at the Innovation Center of the Dagestan State Medical University as part of the «Dialogue on Equal Terms» project, organized by student tutoring. The meeting was attended by Hasan Ordashev, Head of the Department of Surgical Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Dagestan State Medical University, and Milana Yunusova, Assistant Professor at the Department.

 Hasan Aliyevich not only shared his journey, but also guided the students through the challenging path of a surgeon, providing vivid clinical cases from his practice. His speech turned into a lively and frank dialogue with the audience.

 Milana Narimanovna immediately moved from theory to practice, giving a master class on suturing for future doctors. This interactive format allowed students to experience the role of a surgeon for the first time and gain invaluable practical skills.

 The meeting ended with a lively discussion, during which everyone was able to get answers to their questions. This format has proven to be effective: when experienced mentors speak the same language as students, it’s not just about imparting knowledge but also about creating a genuine professional community where future leaders in the field of medicine can grow.

 The organizers have demonstrated that the most valuable dialogue occurs when experienced doctors are willing to be not only mentors but also companions, and when students are not just listeners but active participants in the process of professional development.
