The IV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation ‘Professional Improvement of Healthcare Workers — the Way to the Health of the Nation’ was held in Pirogov Russian National Research and Medical University, Moscow.

The delegation of Dagestan State Medical University represented by the Vice-Rector for Research Naida Mollaeva, Dean of the Faculty of Higher Education Raisa Shakhsinova, Head of the Department of Continuing Medical Education Dzhaminat Medzhidova took part in it.

The event brought together leading education and healthcare professionals to share their experience and best practices.

At the event, innovations in the development and implementation of additional professional programmes for healthcare professionals, as well as modern digital solutions required for this purpose, were discussed and voiced. Special attention was paid to residency programmes and current issues of professional development of scientific and pedagogical staff.

The conference also included master classes: ‘School of the Chief Outside Specialist’ and ‘Communication in the activity of a senior nurse’. The practical part of the event introduced the conference participants to lean technologies in medicine, business planning and online practice. Based on the materials of the conference it is planned to hold a meeting of the Academic Council of IDEP DSMU in order to make changes in the working curricula and educational process.
