The ceremonial event «For lovely ladies» dedicated to the International Women’s Day was held in the Innovation Center of Dagestan State Medical University on March 6, 2024.

Rector of DGMU Visampasha Khanaliev addressed with wishes to the beautiful half of humanity, female staff of the university and female students: «Dear colleagues, wonderful ladies, I hasten to congratulate you on the coming spring holiday — March 8! You are the most beautiful, kind, charming, delight us with your intelligence, talent and skill.

The amazing teaching staff nobly educates qualified medical workers. And students of DSMU perfectly show themselves both in educational, scientific, sports and cultural spheres of life of the university. Dear ladies, let there always be peace, care and love in your life. I wish you health, happiness and prosperity. Happy Holidays!»

Rector’s Advisor Isak Irbaykhanov, Vice-Rector for Medical Work Magomed Khamidov, Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Social and Educational Work Amurbek Kachabekov, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Raisa Shakhsinova, Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics Tagir Abakarov were present as guests of honor, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Preventive Medicine Gadzhimurad Dalgatov, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Gasbulla Barkaev, Head of the Security Department Abdulnasir Rajabov and his assistant Islam Razakhanov, Director of IDPO Rafik Butaev, as well as assistant deans, heads of departments, professors and teachers.

The event was organized by the Culture Center of DGMU, activists of which prepared a festive concert. Performers were: People’s Artist of the Republic of Dagestan, employee of the Cultural Center Abdulla Fataliyev with the song «God give me this woman»; Kamila Hajiyeva with Fazu Aliyeva’s poem «In health of girls of mountains»; Hajimurad Pashtayev with the song-popurri «My Dagestan»; Samira Ramazanova with the song «Goryanka»; Jamal Gadzhiev with the song «When My Girl is Sick»; Kamila Gadzhieva with the song «Perizada»; Daniyal Shabanov with the song «An Accidental Story»; Malika Abdulaeva with the song «Mama»; Maryam Medzhidova with the song «Oriental Girl»; Amina Lametova with the song «Behind You».

In addition, students of the Medical College of DSMU presented a mock dance.

The concert ended with a bright lezginka.
