DSMU medical volunteers clear the territory of the Tyulpan kindergarten after flooding

On behalf of Visampashi Khanaliev, Rector of Dagestan State Medical University, the university’s medical volunteers went to the Tulipan kindergarten today, which was damaged by flooding after heavy rains. The students’ work on site is coordinated by Sirazhitin Mutuev, Vice-rector for AHD, and Imanali Mustafayev, Head of the Department for Work with Students. The work is organized within the framework of the work of the regional headquarters of mutual assistance #myplace in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan. The headquarters carries out round-the-clock activities to eliminate the consequences of floods. DSMU students are clearing the kindergarten territory of silt and mud brought by streams of water, pumping water from basements, performing primary sanitary cleaning and preparing the premises for further restoration. «Dagestan State Medical University is always ready to provide assistance to those who need it. The kindergarten management asked us for help. For several days, the territory was cordoned off by staff and volunteers from among the parents. But there is still a lot of work to do, and we also decided to join in and help with the completion of the cleaning work on the kindergarten grounds. Or I am proud of our students, who always readily respond and support their fellow countrymen. I am convinced that these young people will become worthy specialists!» said V. N. Khanaliev.
