On April 2, the Republican Center for the Neuropsychiatric Health of Children and Adolescents hosted a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the World Autism Awareness Day. Vice Rector for Science Naida Mollayeva welcomed Visampashi Khanaliev, Rector of Dagestan State Medical University. She spoke about the importance of this day, the need to help people with autism and improve their quality of life. Naida Mollayeva made a presentation on «Factors influencing the prevalence of autism spectrum disorders.« The conference program also included presentations on topical topics: «An educational route for children with mental disabilities» — head of the center for PMPK RD Aslana Ramazanova; «Autism. Clinic, diagnostics» — Department of Psychiatry, Medical Psychology and Narcology of the Moscow State Medical University, psychiatrist of the RCPZDIP Elmira Amirova; «Treatment and rehabilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder« — psychiatrist of the RCPZDIP Elnara Alibekova.
