DSMU students are the winners of the physiology Olympiad in Orenburg

The V (fifth) Open Student Olympiad in Normal Physiology of the Lower Volga Cluster was held at the Orenburg State Medical University, in which the Dagestan State Medical University took part. Igor Miroshnichenko, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Normal Physiology, and Rector of the Orenburg State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, acted as the Chairman of the Organizing Committee. Students from the Faculty of Medicine participated in the Olympiad from the Dagestan State Medical University: Nurudin Yraliev, Magomed Aliyev, and Amir Alibekov. The team was accompanied by Naida Abdullaeva, Associate Professor of the Department of Normal Physiology and Head of the Student Scientific Society «PHYSIOLAND». The Rector of OrSMU, I.V. Miroshnichenko, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech: «Normal physiology is the foundation of medicine. It is impossible to treat and restore the body without understanding how it functions. I wish the participants an interesting game, victories, and most importantly, new acquaintances and friends!» The program of the Olympiad was traditionally very extensive. The first day was held at the scientific and educational center and at the Hippocrates Social (student wellness center). As part of their homework, the participants prepared educational films and presented them to the jury. In addition, the teams had to pass tests and solve eight situational tasks, and the team captains competed for the title of the best in the individual competition.
