On April 20-24, Moscow hosts the XXXIII Russian National Congress «Man and Medicine.» This forum has been one of the largest and most representative medical events for 30 years and gathers on its site a large-scale audience of leading scientists, health professionals, practicing doctors, heads of specialized departments, everyone who is responsible for the health of the country’s population. Meetings of this level are a unique opportunity for communication, cooperation, exchange of experience and professional development.

Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, leading healthcare specialists, representatives of medical science from all regions of Russia and foreign countries shared their authoritative opinion.

The Congress is attended by more than 600 lecturers — leading Russian scientists, health organizers, pharmacists.

Interesting summits were held: cardiosammitis, endosammitis, clinpharmsammitis, neurosammitis, pulmosammitis, an interdisciplinary summit, in which the participants exchanged experience and best practices aimed at implementing measures for the timely prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients.

Within the framework of the Congress, the Golden Stethoscope International Student Therapy Olympiad was held. The Olympiad brought together 13 strongest teams from all federal districts of Russia, as well as foreign participants, including the team of the Dagestan Medical University «Guards Purkenye.» The team included students of the Faculty of Medicine Maryam Hasanova (6th year), Emilia Rustamova (6th year), Patimat Hasanalieva (5th year), Saida Hasangadzhieva (5th year), Chamsiyat Taimova (5th year). The head of the team is Suleiman Mammaev, professor of the Department of Hospital Therapy at DSMU. The DSMU team took 4th place. The participants of the congress from DSMU thank the rector of the university Visampasha Khanaliev for the support and development of science and the opportunity to participate in such events. The knowledge gained at the Congress will be in demand in real clinical practice.
