DSMU took part in the All-Russian meeting on the implementation of the educational module on patriotic education

On May 20, the All-Russian meeting on the inclusion of the module «The Great Patriotic War: without a Statute of limitations» in the educational programs of higher education was held in the video-conference mode. The meeting was organized by the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 310 universities in Russia, and was attended by vice-rectors for academic and educational work and heads of departments of History and Humanities. Dagestan State Medical University was represented at the meeting by the Vice-rector for Public Relations and Social and Educational work Elmira Abieva. The meeting was opened by Denis Ashirov, Director of the Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. «Within the framework of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the patriotic direction is particularly important. In all educational organizations, it is necessary to create a unified system of patriotic education of students. I am sure that the module will be successfully implemented in higher education organizations in Russia,» he said.

The main speakers of the event were the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Pskov State University Olga Serova and the director of the Institute of Humanities and Language Communications Lyudmila Aliyeva. O. Serova demonstrated three options for including the module in the educational process, as well as presented content in the form of a textbook. L. Aliyeva spoke about the opportunities for professional development on the basis of Pskov State University and consultations for specialists responsible for the implementation of the training module.

The module will be included in the educational programs of universities from September 1, 2021.
