DSMU took part in the republican community work day

Today the Dagestan State Medical University joined the republican subbotnik initiated by the Head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergey Melikov.

The event was attended by employees and students of the university. Work on improvement and restoring order took place on the territory of a 5-storey and 9-storey educational and laboratory building, as well as on the territory of the morphological and biological building of the DSMU. The participants of the subbotnik removed the adjacent territory, collected garbage and put in order the areas around the educational buildings.

Such actions not only contribute to the creation of a clean and comfortable environment, but also unite the university community around the common values   of responsibility, respect for work and respect for the surrounding space.

The rector of DSMU Visampasha Khanaliev noted: «Participation in the republican subbotnik is the contribution of our university to the common cause of improving our native Dagestan. It is especially important that both employees and students participate in such initiatives. This is not only the work of restoring order, but also the education of environmental culture, civic responsibility and team spirit. DSMU always supports activities aimed at developing a creative and favorable environment.»
