On Tuesday, June 1, the Republican Children’s Rehabilitation Center organized a festive event dedicated to the Children’s Protection Day. The event was opened and welcomed by the chief doctor of the Republican Children’s Rehabilitation Center Habibulla Shakhmanayev, who congratulated everyone on the holiday.

The guests of the event were the director of the Territorial Compulsory Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of Dagestan Ilyas Mamaev, the Deputy Manager of the Regional Branch of the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Dagestan Sharabudin Darishmagomedov and others.

On behalf of the Acting Rector of the Dagestan State Medical University, the event was attended and congratulated by the Acting Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Social and Educational Work of the DSMU, Elmira Abieva. «On behalf of the university administration, I congratulate everyone on such a wonderful holiday! It is so happy to see the smiles on the faces of the children today. All children need love and care, and children in such centers-especially. I would like to thank all the employees of your center for their hard work and caring attitude to the students.

We are thankful to our student volunteers for organizing such holidays for children. It should be noted that they annually hold such meetings in various centers of Makhachkala, and the leadership of the DSMU always supports them in this. After all, participation in such events is very important for future doctors, so they not only get professional experience, but also learn compassion, better feel the problems associated with physical health, social and psychological adaptation of children,» Abiyeva said.

Activists of the DSMU Volunteer Center in cheerful costumes of animators presented an entertainment program to young viewers. They delighted the audience with bright performances, dances, songs, stage miniatures and competitions. The children together repeated the movements of the dance flash mob from the volunteers.

During the event, the Acting Rector of Dagestan State Medical University Suleiman Mammayev, Acting Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Social and Educational Work Elmira Abiyeva and the Volunteer Center were awarded with gratitude from the Republican Children’s Rehabilitation Center. 

«Today was a wonderful concert, we have been waiting for it for a very long time. We sang, danced, and held contests. Most of all, I liked it when they painted our faces» a little pupil of the center shared her impressions.

This festive day turned out to be bright and colorful for all present!
