On the 2nd of July 2024 in the assembly hall of the biological building diplomas of higher education were handed over to the graduates of the Dentistry Faculty of DSMU. This is already the 55th graduation of the Dentistry Faculty of DSMU.

Rector Visampasha Khanaliev, Dean of the Faculty of Stomatology Tagir Abakarov, assistant deans, heads of dental departments, teachers and other honoured guests took part in the solemn event. The heads of the structural subdivisions of the university also took part in the organisation of diploma awarding.

Tulanov Dilshod Shomirzaevich Tulanov — Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry of Andijan State Medical Institute was also present at the celebration. This is the first graduation of students from the Republic of Uzbekistan who studied under double degree programmes. 16 graduates under the contract with Andijan GMI graduated from the university, among them one graduate received a red diploma.

In the current year 2024, the Dentistry Faculty has graduated 229 graduates, including 22 graduates with red diplomas; 15 graduates, who studied on targeted admission, will go to work in contract places.

Visampasha Khanaliev opened the graduation ceremony:

«I sincerely congratulate all graduates of the Dentistry Faculty on one of the most significant events in your life — graduation; you have graduated from one of the best medical universities. You have a great honour — you are graduates of Dagestan State Medical University, and you get an opportunity to become highly qualified specialists in the field of dentistry.

Experienced teachers passed their knowledge to you, you were trained at training bases equipped with modern equipment, and you were able to grasp all the basics and subtleties of your future profession! In addition to your studies, you had the opportunity to be involved in student scientific societies, as well as to participate in the social life of the faculty and the university.

We are glad that we were able to pass on our knowledge and skills to you — future dentists, who in the future will provide highly qualified assistance to tens of thousands of patients.

Each of you has also had the opportunity to join the community of people for whom dentistry has become the meaning of life! Education at your faculty is based on a close connection between fundamental knowledge in the field of medicine and the latest technologies in the speciality being mastered. Leaving the walls of your Alma Mater, never forget your teachers, who taught you everything that they know and can do themselves. I wish you happiness, prosperity, successful start of your professional journey and all the best,» said Visampasha Khanaliev in his speech.

Dean of the Dentistry Faculty Tagir Abakarov also spoke with kind words of farewell. He noted the importance of this event for each graduate, congratulated them on the completion of a responsible stage of life, wished success in all endeavours and, of course, new achievements and victories to young specialists.

Heads of departments and lecturers made farewell words to the graduates, wishing to choose their own way in life and to follow it confidently and honestly.
