On July 1, 2025, Dagestan State Medical University hosted a solemn event dedicated to the graduation of pediatricians from the Faculty of Pediatrics.

This day has become an important event for 238 young professionals who have completed their studies and are ready to contribute to the development of medicine in the region.

Diplomas were awarded to all graduates at the ceremony, among whom 22 distinguished themselves and received diplomas with honors. It is important that there are graduates who have studied according to the target set and will begin their professional activities in the medical organizations of the region in the near future.

Graduates of the Faculty of Pediatrics have the opportunity to find employment in various positions, such as a pediatrician in children’s clinics or a doctor of an on-site ambulance team. In addition, they have the opportunity to continue their residency training in various medical specialties, such as neonatology, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, dermatovenerology, ophthalmology, and others.

Before the start of the solemn event, the anthem of the Russian Federation and the anthem of the Dagestan State Medical University were played. Then the song «My Dagestan» was performed by activists of the DSMU Cultural Center — Daniyal Shabanov and Samira Ramazanova.

The Rector of DSMU, Professor Visampasha Khanaliev, warmly congratulated the audience, emphasizing the importance of the chosen specialty: «Dear graduates of the pediatric faculty, dear parents, dear teachers! Today, the university is sending a new generation of pediatricians to the big professional world. Each of you has a difficult path of perseverance, hard work and the desire to become professionals in your field. You will protect the most precious thing that humanity has — the health of children.»

Visampasha Khanaliev expressed confidence that every young specialist will be able to make a significant contribution to the development of healthcare, emphasizing the need for continuous self-improvement and the development of professional competencies.

The ceremony ended with congratulatory speeches by representatives of the university administration and teachers. The graduates vowed to take care of their future profession, adhere to the principles of ethics and faithfully fulfill their duties, ensuring the well-being of the younger generation.
