On November 11, 2025, within the walls of the Dagestan State Medical University, the Volunteer Center held an important educational seminar titled «Irreversible Decisions: How Your Lifestyle in Your Youth Affects Your Ability to Have Children.» This event aimed to raise awareness among students about reproductive health, emphasizing the long-term consequences of youthful habits.

Madina Atagadzhieva, a highly qualified specialist and assistant professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Faculty of Medicine, delivered a detailed lecture on the relationship between young lifestyle and the ability to become parents. The main focus was on how nutrition, physical activity levels, stress management skills, and the presence of harmful addictions shape the foundation of future reproductive health. The speaker explained that a conscious approach to these aspects in adolescence is crucial for maintaining reproductive function.

During the seminar, participants raised concerns about the impact of academic stress on the reproductive system. The speaker responded by providing detailed insights into the mechanisms of stress and offering effective relaxation techniques. Specific nutrition recommendations aimed at maintaining reproductive health were also discussed. In conclusion, Madina Sirazhutdinovna emphasized, «Your body is a valuable gift. Taking a conscious approach to health today is a responsibility for a happy future, including the opportunity to start a family.»

The event, organized by the Volunteer Center of Dagestan State Medical University, received a positive response from the attendees. The young people demonstrated high levels of engagement and gratitude for the information provided. The purpose of the seminar was not only to inform, but also to form a conscious attitude towards one’s own body and to encourage responsible health behavior, which was undoubtedly achieved.
