«Healthy Lifestyle battle»: more than a sport, brighter than just a relay race

On Saturday, April 4, Komsomolsky Park turned into an epicenter of vivacity and sports excitement. It was here that the large-scale relay race «Healthy Lifestyle Battle» was held, organized by the Volunteer Center of Dagestan State Medical University. This initiative has brought together the most energetic and motivated students who are ready to promote the values of health by personal example. The activists fully coordinated every stage, from route development to safety, creating an atmosphere where healthy competition was harmoniously combined with a sense of sincere support. The choice of a healthy lifestyle topic was conscious: it is extremely important for future doctors to develop stamina and endurance from the student’s bench. The competition began with dynamic sprint races, which smoothly turned into a series of special rallying tests. Here, the guys learned to act as a single mechanism, realizing that in medicine, as in sports, the result depends on each team member. In between the stages, the volunteers organized a platform for an open dialogue. The students discussed methods of keeping fit with a busy academic schedule. One of the volunteers noted: «Our task is to prove that physical activity can be an exciting adventure, not a routine duty. We are here to energize each other and remind each other of the value of the movement.» The «Healthy Lifestyle Battle» finished on a high emotional note — with the announcement of the results and a collective photo. The participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the organizing team for creating an atmosphere of unity and cohesion. The main goal of the event — the popularization of sports and the strengthening of friendly ties among young people – was successfully achieved. Saying goodbye, the guys emphasized that such initiatives make their student years much brighter, inspiring new achievements both in studies and in self-improvement. Tagirova Pisat, Volunteer Center
