Meeting of the university management with students of the Faculty of Medicine

The Scientific and Educational Innovation Center hosted a meeting of the university administration with the students of the Faculty of Medicine. Arsen Magomedov, a police lieutenant-colonel and Shamil Omarov, deputy head of the Makhachkala Department of Internal Affairs, were invited to the event as honorary guests.

Also present were representatives of the rectorate: Rector’s Advisor Iskhak Irbaikhanov, Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Social and Educational Work Amurbek Kachabekov, Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Part Sirazhitin Mutuev, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Raisa Shakhsinova and others.

  1. Kachabekov addressed the students with a welcoming speech: «Very soon a historic moment is coming for our country. All citizens of the Russian Federation will take part in the main elections. Each candidate is worthy of respect and the title of the future President. Make your choice!»

Further, the guests of the event from the Ministry of Internal Affairs also emphasized that active citizenship is related to a person’s view of events from the perspective of both individual and public interests, awareness of their importance and the ability to make a choice based on civic values. Therefore, the task of every student and graduate is to make an informed choice at the upcoming voting.

In addition, S. Mutuev, Vice-Rector for Administration and Economy, reminded the attendees to be prudent and not to give in to various provocations by instigators aimed at discrediting the authorities and self-governing bodies.

The meeting ended with a common photo and words of farewell.
