Musical and poetic evening dedicated to the poetry of the Silver Age «Burn, my star, don’t go out!»

  A musical and poetic evening of poetry of the Silver Age «Burn, my star, do not go out» was held in the Central City Library of the new generation. The evening was organized under the leadership of activists of the Volunteer Center of Dagestan State Medical University with the support of library staff.

  Having created an atmosphere of warmth, comfort and tranquility, the readers demonstrated their creative potential. At the evening, the works of poets and prose writers of the Silver Age – Sergei Yesenin, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Anna Akhmatova, Marina Tsvetaeva, Nikolai Gumilev, Eduard Asadov and others were read. The guys managed to convey the mood of the authors, while arousing a large number of positive emotions from the audience.

   Holding such literary evenings helps to increase interest in reading a poetic or prose text, the development of acting reading skills, elements of acting, teamwork, creative potential of the individual, education of love for art,  particulary for literature.

   «Poetry is something that allows you to escape from everyday routine, it can be a source of strength and inspiration to achieve new goals. Today, few people read books, especially classical literature. This evening was held with the aim of awakening young people’s interest in poetry. We hope that today all our guests and readers were able to relax and enjoy the works of great classics,» the organizer of the evening Kamil Bagavov said.

 The evening ended with the presentation of thanks to the readers and a general photo.
