On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, the official opening of the interregional educational forum of leaders of NCFD student self-government of «Vector 2020» took place on the territory of the recreation center «ARENA BEACH».

The forum was organized by the Committee on Youth Affairs of the Dagestan State Medical University with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan, as well as public associations and organizations.

The participants were 70 representatives of universities of the North Caucasus Federal District.

On the basis of the forum, the Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan Komil Saidov delivered a greeting and parting words. «As we all know, medical students are extremely busy studying, gaining knowledge and practice, and therefore I want to thank all those who still took the time and participated in the organization of this event. The forum was supposed to be held much earlier, but due to the current epidemiological situation, it was decided to postpone it. Today is the long-awaited day, and we are very happy that the forum will still take place. I urge all of you to continue to take part in social activities, to be active, and we, in turn, promise to provide you with all possible support, » he addressed the audience.

Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Social and Educational Work of DSMU Elmira Abieva joined the words of Kamil Ramazanovich, congratulated all participants on the beginning of the forum and wished them great success and new achievements. «The purpose of this event is to identify the talents of students, to give them the opportunity to express themselves, to participate in public and political life. I think that each of you will get a special experience and share your titles with others, » she said.

DSMU Chairman for Youth Affairs Committee, Director of the Vector 2020 Forum Bilal Pirmagomedov also made a welcoming speech. He wished everyone the warmest and most cheerful memories, but also noted that in addition to recreation and entertainment, the participants are waiting for educational programs that will be conducted by talented and experienced coaches, among them: Ekaterina Maslova; Lyudmila Boronina; Oleg Tsapko; Natalia Gurgankina and Shevket Krumov.

After the official part, all participants, organizers and the forum guests had the opportunity to relax, dance and have fun.

The purpose of such events is to unite social activists, establish connections within the youth, and, of course, they contribute to the development and personal growth. Let us remind you that for 4 days, the forum participants will have a rich program in such areas as: student self-government, social and legal work, student media centers, tutoring/curating, and organizing cultural events. The forum program includes various trainings, master classes, business games and much more.
