On 24 April, the Dagestan State Medical University held an interim certification of second-year residents for admission to medical activity in the positions of trainee doctors

There were admitted 43 people on 11 specialities. Attestation was successfully passed by 35 residents. The most applications were submitted by trainees on speciality obstetrics and gynaecology. Residents who have successfully passed the attestation, receive the decision of the commission on their admission to work in medical organisations of the republic on posts of doctors-interns, which allows them to combine successfully educational process and to start labour activity on a speciality.

Attestation is carried out according to the applications of residents. At the moment in DSMU among the second year residents 91 people have admission to medical activity as trainee doctors and 23 trainees have already been successfully employed in various medical organisations of the republic. This work will be continued in the future to eliminate the shortage of personnel in the field of health care.
