The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation held an expanded meeting of the board of the Ministry of Health of Russia «On the results of the work of the Ministry of Health of Russia for 2025 and tasks for 2026,» which took place at the site of the national center «Russia.» The board members summed up the development of the healthcare industry in 2025 and discussed the goals for the current year. Dagestan was represented at the collegium by Deputy Prime Minister Abdurakhman Makhmudov, Rector of Dagestan State Medical University Visampasha Khanaliev, Minister of Health of the Republic of Dagestan Yaroslav Glazov, Head of the Educational and Methodological Department of DSMU Gaydin Hajiyev.

The main topics were the implementation of national projects and the results achieved in the first year, increasing the availability of medical care, personnel issues, digitalization of healthcare and others.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his greeting to the participants of the board of the Ministry of Health of Russia, said that according to the results of the past year, we can confidently talk about the significant achievements of modern domestic medicine.

He noted that within the framework of the national project «Long and Active Life,» infrastructure is actively developing throughout the country.

The President of Russia highlighted the main successes in the work of the health care system over the past period.

During his welcoming speech to the participants, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted that the Russian Government keeps under special control the issue of improving the availability and quality of medical care to citizens throughout the country and special attention is paid to improving the healthcare infrastructure.

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation noted that today the state faces new tasks. The guidelines for the upcoming work are determined by the President of Russia in the Health Development Strategy for the next five years.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova spoke about the introduction of a separate section on telemedicine technologies in the program of state guarantees.

In addition, she noted that the basic program of compulsory health insurance (MHI) is supplemented by the possibility of remote monitoring of the health status of patients with high blood pressure or blood sugar.
