Anniversary events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University (SPbSMU) and the 120th anniversary of the University Clinic were held in St. Petersburg. Within their framework, the general meeting of the Association «Council of Rectors of Medical and Pharmaceutical Higher Educational Institutions» was held with the participation of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Albertovich Murashko. Dagestan State Medical University was represented at the meeting by Rector Visampasha Khanaliev and projector for Administrative and economic activities Sirazhittin Mutuev. Rector Visampasha Khanaliev congratulated the management and staff of St. Petersburg State Medical University on its centenary.

The program of the celebrations included the unveiling of the monument to the Besieged Mother «We must Live», guided tours of the university, and an introduction to the work of the perinatal center and the museum of St. Petersburg State Medical University. Congratulations were sent to one of the largest medical universities in the country from representatives of federal and regional authorities, the academic and professional community.

DSMU expresses its gratitude to colleagues from St. Petersburg for the invitation and the high organization of the anniversary events, and wishes SPbGPU further development, scientific and clinical success.
