Representatives of the Medical College of Dagestan State Medical University visited the village of Adanak in the Karabudakhkent Area of Dagestan

On November 26, a group of 14 final-year students from the Medical College of the Dagestan State Medical University and 5 medical teachers, headed by the director of the college, Ullubiy Dzhanmurzaev, and the assistant rector, Magomed Magomayev, visited the village of Adanak in the Karabudakhkent district.

They inspected the FAP, familiarized themselves with the population, and held a joint seminar with the staff of the FAP on the following topics: «Development of future medicine, application of artificial intelligence in rural medicine», within the framework of the production practice «Implementation of organizational, preventive work, formation of a healthy lifestyle and sanitary and hygienic education». Also, representatives of the Medical College of DSMU conducted a household round of the population, visited a rural school, where they examined teachers and students. As part of the examinations, for the first time, they identified high blood pressure and type 1 diabetes in schoolchildren.

Students and teachers demonstrated a high level of professionalism and attentiveness, which allowed them to identify possible health problems in the village at an early stage.

This action was made possible by the cooperation of the Medical College and the Chief Physician of the Karabudakhkent Central Area Hospital Kh. Shakhmanayev, as well as the Head of the Administration of the Village of Adanak in the Karabudakhkent District M. Musalaev.

Such events contribute to improving public health and raising awareness about the importance of regular medical examinations.

The college plans to hold such events on a regular basis.
