«Snow Leopard» held master classes on first aid on Children’s Day

Childhood is the most interesting and important period in a person’s life. It is in childhood that the character of a person is formed, there is an intensive physical and psychological development. Children are not only joy and happiness for every parent, they are the foundation of the future society. On June 1, the International Children’s Day is celebrated all over the world.

In honor of this holiday, members of the Student Rescue Team of the Dagestan State Medical University «Snow Leopard» held master classes on first aid for everyone.

The sites were served by 2 landmarks: the park named after the 50th anniversary of October and the park «Dragon».

Residents were shown the skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, taught them to provide first aid for fainting, epilepsy attacks, burns, frostbite and hypothermia, bleeding, etc. They were shown how to respond urgently and provide first aid without waiting for the ambulance team to arrive.

The participants learned in practice to provide first aid for various conditions not only for adults, but also for children. The following items were analyzed in detail: cardiopulmonary resuscitation, proper application of a hemostatic tourniquet and bandage, assistance with airway obstruction and various bleeding.

At the end of the master class, all those present expressed great gratitude to the members of the squad and noted the great opportunities and high benefits of the information and skills received.

And we want to remind you that first aid is an important part of training in the life of every person, working out confident actions in crowded places in emergency situations before the arrival of emergency services, in case of accidents, fires, explosions and other situations.
