Students from DSMU participated in the 2nd Student Olympiad «Oncology of Southern Russia» with international participation.

Members of the student research group «Corde Puro» from the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy of Dagestan State Medical University took part in the Olympiad «Oncology of Southern Russia» with international participation, held in Krasnodar at the Kuban State Medical University. Ten teams from leading medical universities across the country and abroad participated in the Olympiad.

The «Corde Puro» team included DSMU students and members of the SNK club of the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy: Alzhanat Arasheva (Group 603, Faculty of General Medicine), Malena Karabekova (Group 505, Faculty of General Medicine), Maryam Daudova (Group 603, Faculty of General Medicine), Akhmed Dzhabukov (Group 424, Faculty of General Medicine), and Khairulbariyat Osmanova (Group 620, Faculty of General Medicine).

The following competitions were held as part of the Olympiad: «Dermatoscopy Virtuosos,» «Connoisseurs of Medicinal Treatment,» «Masters of Cytology,» and «Oncology in Painting.» DSMU students won the «Connoisseurs of Medicinal Treatment» and «Oncology in Painting» competitions.

The Council of Scientific Counselors of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy expresses gratitude for their support in all endeavors to the rector of DSMU, Visampasha Khanaliev; the head of the department of operative surgery and topographic anatomy, Magomed Akhmadudinov; and the scientific director of the circle, Ilyas Kiblaev.
