Students from the Medical College of DSMU became winners and prize-winners of the Professionals 2026 championship

On March 5, the solemn closing ceremony of the Regional Championship of Professional Skills «Professionals-2026» in the Republic of Dagestan was held. The students of the Medical College of the Dagestan State Medical University presented the university with dignity and won prizes in two competencies. According to the results of the competition, Zumriat Magomedova, a 2nd-year student of the Nursing Department, became the gold medalist in the «Medical and Social Care» (main category) competency. A 2nd-year student of the Department of Dental Orthopedy, Amina Magomedova, also demonstrated a high level of training and professionalism, taking the honorable 3rd place in the Competence “Orthopedic Dentistry”. At the awarding ceremony, the participants and winners were greeted by the honorary guests. The success of the future medical professionals was shared by Magomed Magomayev, Assistant Rector of the DSMU for Secondary Vocational Education, and Ullubiy Dzhanmurzaev, Director of the DSMU Medical College. The university management expressed gratitude to the mentors who prepared the winners: the main expert in the competence “Medical and social care” F. Nukhova and the expert-mentor R. Umarov. The victory in the regional stage of “Professionals” is not only a recognition of the high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of DSMU students, but also a ticket for participation in the final of the All-Russian championship.
