Students of DSMU became winners and prize-winners of the III International Olympiad for medical students «SAMARKAND – 2020»

On December 16-17, 2022, the III International Olympiad for students of medical universities «SAMARKAND – 2020» was held.

The Olympiad was held among more than three thousand students of the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries in 34 medical fundamental and clinical disciplines. Among them were presented: normal physiology, microbiology, human anatomy, propaedeutics of internal diseases, surgery, neurology, oncology and others.

Tasks in several stages were provided for online participants in the number of more than two thousand people:

1) a test, according to the results of which students who scored at least 70 points out of 100 passed further;

2) an oral survey, which included questions on theory, practical skills, as well as situational tasks.

The results of the Olympiad were announced on December 17, 2022.

Salikhat Dibraeva, a 3rd-year student of the medical faculty of DSMU, took the first place in the discipline of normal physiology;  Khairulbariyat Osmanova, a 3rd-year student of the medical faculty of DSMU won  in the nomination “Clinical thinking” in the discipline of normal physiology.

The 3rd place in the discipline of propaedeutics was taken by a 4th-year student of the medical faculty of DSMU Gadzhi Amirov.

In the discipline of microbiology, virology and immunology, the nomination “The best solution of situational problems” was awarded to Ravzanat Abdulgamidova, a 3rd-year student of the medical faculty of DSMU.

Khadizhat Mugutdinova, a 3rd-year student of the Medical Faculty of  Dagestan  State Medical University was awarded in the category “Triumph of Reason” in the discipline English.
