On July 3, the Innovation Center of Dagestan State Medical University hosted a graduation ceremony for graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry. This year, 236 young specialists joined the ranks of dentists, 15 of whom received diplomas with honors.

The event began with the performance of the anthems of the Russian Federation and DSMU, which gave the event a special solemnity and emphasized the importance of the moment for each graduate.

Visampasha Khanaliev, Rector of DSMU, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech: «Dear graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry! Dear parents, teachers, and guests! Today is a special day for all of us…».

The Rector congratulated the graduates on the successful completion of their studies, noted their perseverance and desire for knowledge, and expressed confidence that they would become highly qualified specialists capable of making a significant contribution to the development of healthcare. He also thanked the faculty for their hard work and dedication, and the parents for their support and faith in their children.

In his speech, Visampasha Khanaliev emphasized the importance of the dental profession and urged graduates to be guided by the principles of humanism, charity and professional ethics in their work. He also noted that students from all over the world study at the university, and expressed the hope that the years spent at DSMU will forever remain in their memory.

As part of the graduation ceremony, a concert program from the DSMU Cultural Center was organized for graduates and guests. Bright performances and musical numbers created a festive atmosphere and gave everyone present a good mood.

Tagir Abakarov, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, also addressed the graduates with words of farewell. The parents of the graduates expressed their gratitude to the university for the quality education and care of the students. In response, the graduates thanked the university, teachers and parents for the support and knowledge gained during their studies.

Many graduates plan to continue their studies in residency and postgraduate studies in order to deepen their knowledge and become highly specialized specialists. Others are ready to start working in dental clinics and hospitals right away. They are all enthusiastic and eager to help people by putting their knowledge and skills into practice.
