The XIII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference «Global vectors of pharmaceutical education, science and practice development in an unpredictable environment and digitalization», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, was held at the Scientific and Educational Innovation Center of DSMU on September 25.

Naida Mollayeva, Vice-Rector for Research at DSMU, delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of Visampashi Khanaliev, Rector of DSMU. She thanked the guests who came to the conference: leading scientists from different regions of the country; business representatives who are ready to share practical experience, exchange views on pharmaceutical education, the results of their research, and identify prospects and directions for the development of pharmaceutical education in science and practice.

«The observed shortage of pharmaceutical industry employees requires educational organizations to conduct career guidance activities designed to provide high-quality training for future pharmacists. For better training of specialists, it is necessary to combine modern science with the organization of practical training of specialists on the basis of educational institutions. The Department of Pharmacy at DSMU conducts extensive career guidance and work to improve educational programs with an emphasis on practice orientation,» Naida Mollayeva said in her speech and wished the conference fruitful work.

She presented the honorary guests with commendations on behalf of the Rector for participating in the organization of the XIII interuniversity scientific and practical conference with international participation.

The guests and participants of the conference were also greeted by the First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Dagestan Nabi Kuraev; Professor, Head of the Department of Pharmacy Management and Economics at the RUDN University Medical Institute. Patrice Lumumba» Ekaterina Loskutova; Rector of the Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Vladimir Luzhanin (in video greeting format).

Then Gasbulla Barkaev— Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Preventive Medicine at DSMU, spoke.

«The event being held today is a sign of high respect for the university, the teaching staff. I would like to thank everyone who took the time to come to our conference, where the most pressing issues in the field of pharmacology will be discussed,» Barkaev said.

He presented the report «The concept of development of pharmaceutical educational and scientific-practical knowledge based on updating its theoretical component» to the audience.

Alexander Khovanov, Head of the Marketing Department at TNK SILMA LLC, spoke about ensuring effective interaction between the healthcare system and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

The conference was filled with a large number of interesting reports, which were read by guests from all universities of the country. Among them: Vladimir Luzhanin — «On the activities of the Perm Center for Cluster Development of the pharmaceutical industry»;

Ekaterina Loskutova — «Problems of updating the content of pharmacy training, taking into account the applied professional standards and the digital transformation of the pharmaceutical circulation system»; Irina Kosova — Professor at the Department of Pharmacy Management and Economics at the Medical Institute — «Research on reporting spontaneous reports of adverse reactions in the EAEU countries» and many other reports.

The conference was held in a friendly atmosphere, all scheduled reports were listened to and discussed.
