The delegation of the DSMU paid a working visit to the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino

On April 28, an expanded meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Bukhara State Medical Institute of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which was attended by a delegation of the DSMU consisting of the dean of the dental faculty Tagir Abakarov and the head of the international department Raisa Kurbanova. At the beginning of the meeting, BGMI rector Shukhrat Tashaev presented guests of honor. Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Tagir Abakarov greeted the rector of the university and members of the academic council on behalf of the rector of DSMU Visampashi Khanaliev and read out an order on the decision to award the honorary title of honorary professor of DSMU to the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, professor Shukhrat Teshaev. Further, in a solemn atmosphere, the rector was awarded a mantle and a diploma of an honorary professor.

Further, the members of the academic council included a video congratulation from the rector of DSMU Visampashi Khanaliev, where it was noted that this award is a recognition of Shukhrat Zhumaevich’s high merits to DSMU. In turn, Shukhrat Tashayev thanked the rector Visampasha Khanaliev, the leadership of the university, members of the Academic Council for the high assessment of his professional activities, noting that cooperation with DSMU is a priority for them in international activities.

He also noted that the Bukhara State Medical Institute and the Dagestan State Medical University interact in all types of university activities.
