On September 12-14, elections to the Makhachkala City Assembly are being held in Makhachkala as part of a Single voting Day. The management, staff and students of Dagestan State Medical University, headed by Rector Visampasha Khanaliev, took an active part in the elections. They voted at polling station No. 1083, located in the Biological Building of the DSMU.

The rector of DSMU, Visampasha Khanaliev, emphasized the special importance of active citizenship: «Participation in elections is not just a right, it is a civic responsibility of each of us. The future of our city, its development and improvement depend on our choice. As a forge of personnel and a social institution, it is especially important for the university to set an example of consciousness and an active lifestyle. We vote for stability, for progress, and for a decent future for our small homeland.»

Active participation in elections is a civic duty of every conscious member of society. The university staff has demonstrated high social responsibility by contributing to the formation of local authorities.

The organization of the work of the polling station on the territory of the university was ensured at a high level, which made it possible to create comfortable and convenient conditions for the exercise of the electoral rights of employees and students, as well as residents of nearby houses.
