The Rector of DSMU took part in a meeting of the Council of Rectors of Universities in the Republic of Dagestan

On January 26, a meeting of the Council of Rectors of Universities of the Republic of Dagestan was held, in which the Rector of Dagestan State Medical University, Visampasha Khanaliyev, took part. The main topic of discussion was the organization of preventive work in the educational environment in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan for Countering the Ideology of Terrorism in the Russian Federation. The meeting was attended by representatives of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee, Vitaly Malyshev and Dmitry Ryazanov. During the presentations, the need for systematic and planned work aimed at fostering sustainable anti-terrorist values among young people and preventing the spread of destructive ideologies was highlighted. Vitaly Malyshev delivered the keynote speech, emphasizing the importance of personal attention and involvement of university leaders in ensuring anti-terrorist security. He also provided information about the activities of the Coordination Centers (CC) established in the regions of the Russian Federation. The head of the coordination center at Dagestan State University, Magomed Magomedov, spoke about the work of the coordination center, presenting information about the center’s organizational structure, activities, cooperation with law enforcement agencies and other universities, and current tasks. Following the meeting, the rectors agreed to coordinate their actions and share their experiences to improve the effectiveness of preventive measures. DSMU supports interuniversity cooperation on ensuring safety and prevention in the youth environment.
