Sechenov University hosts the International Medical Forum «University Science. Innovation-2022» on April 28-29, 2022. The Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko sent a welcome address to young scientists and representatives of medical science and education. Deputy Minister of Health of Russia Tatyana Semenova addressed the forum participants.

The Rector of MSMU Pyotr Glybochko said in his welcoming address: «Medical science should generate developments and technologies capable of bringing practical healthcare to a qualitatively new level and this is facilitated by the strategic initiative of the Ministry of Health of Russia which has become an independent federal project “Medical Science for Man”.

“Young people are going to science. This year, more than 500 scientific projects were submitted. They were evaluated by 232 experts.  About 57 projects  were selected and became winners of the forum «University Science. Innovations», – said Vice-Rector for research work at Sechenov University Denis Butnaru starting the award ceremony.

The next winners from DSMU  were awarded:

Assistant of the Department of General Surgery Rosa Sultanova for the project «Method for determining the localization of tumor obstruction of the biliary tract and the degree of its prevalence» in the direction of «Applied scientific and technological developments in the field of medicine and biomedicine: test systems, devices, equipment».

An assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Pediatric, Dental, and Preventive Medicine Faculties Muminat Idrisova for the project «The influence of psychosocial stress factors on the development of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women against the background of metabolic syndrome» in the direction of «Clinical research in reproductive health».

A virtual exhibition of medical universities of Russia was opened after the plenary session. The exhibition stand of DSMU was presented by  Vice-rector for scientific Work Naida Mollaeva  speaking online with information about the activities of the university, structural divisions and centers of DSMU, its achievements, scientific, educational and medical work. A video film «Scientific achievements of DSMU in the Year of Science and Technology», a video «Virtual tour of the Anatomical Museum of DSMU» and the newest significant photos of our university were presented at   DSMU stand.
