The team of DSMU took prize-winning places at the X Festival of Sports of Students of Medical and Pharmaceutical Higher Education Institutions of Russia «Physical Culture and Sports — the Second Profession of a Doctor»

From 23 to 27 February 2025 in the city of Stavropol on the basis of Stavropol State Medical University the II stage of the X Festival of Sports of Students of Medical and Pharmaceutical Higher Education Institutions of Russia ‘Physical Education and Sports — the Second Profession of a Doctor’ was held.

There were presented such sports as basketball, chess, all-round GTO, kettlebell lifting, badminton.

In these competitions took part the Team of DSMU under the direction of the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Medicine, basketball coach — Magomedov Gamzat Khasratovich, Head of Sports Club of DSMU — Zapirov Zakir Magomedovich, weight lifting coach — Abdulkarimov Shahban Magomedovich.

According to the results of the competition the team prize-winning places were distributed as follows:

Kettlebell lifting — I place

All-round TRP — II place

Basketball — III place

Chess — III place

Also in individual competition in all-round TRP among men Dzhabrailov Magomed took first place.
