The XXV anniversary meeting of the Society of Young Surgeons of the Republic of Dagestan was held on November 27 at the Scientific and Educational Innovation Center of Dagestan State Medical University.

 During the event, the speakers, cardiac angiologist Dubaev Aslanbek and 6th-year student Rustamova Emilia, presented interesting and informative presentations that left a lasting impression on the audience. Aslanbek Asludinovich highlighted the important aspects of using endovascular technologies in the treatment of coronary artery disease, sparking lively discussions and questions from the audience. Emilia Semedovna, in turn, presented a detailed analysis of atherosclerosis and its consequences, and also held a fascinating discussion about the pros and cons of using statins.

 Also, within the framework of the society meeting, a master class on the use of stenting in IHD was held. The participants gained invaluable practical experience and an opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of surgery.

 The meeting was characterized by an atmosphere of friendliness and mutual interest. This event once again confirmed the importance of cooperation and the desire to improve in the field of surgery.
