On March 26, 2026, an important debate on the current topic «The Harmful Effects of Electronic Cigarettes» was held at the Dagestan State Medical University. This significant event was organized by the Volunteer Center, which brought together proactive students for an honest and in-depth discussion about modern habits and their long-term consequences for the nation’s health. The choice of the topic was not accidental, as many people mistakenly perceive vapes as a harmless substitute for traditional tobacco, forgetting about the significant damage they can cause to a young body. The activists proposed a teamwork format to analyze the chemical composition of the liquids in detail, as well as the effects of toxic substances on the nervous system and respiratory organs, as well as the social mechanisms of addiction formation. The volunteers prepared compelling arguments, proving that the attractive image of «safe vapor» is merely a marketing facade for dangerous realities. The participants of the debate did not just receive information; they engaged in a lively dialogue, debunking myths and sharing observations from their future medical practices. Representatives of the DSMU Volunteer Center paid special attention to exposing the advertising strategies of manufacturers luring young people into addiction networks. Each performance of the children was filled with a sincere desire to help their peers consciously choose the path of a full and healthy life. The meeting ended with a summing up and words of gratitude to the volunteers for the high level of preparation of the discussion platform. The main goal of the event was to strengthen the right life guidelines and foster a sense of responsibility for each student’s own well-being. The debate allowed those present to rethink the usual way of life and realize the real risks of using electronic vaporizers. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of creation and unity, fixing in the minds of students an important idea: the prosperity of domestic medicine is impossible without a healthy generation, completely free from any harmful habits and addictions.
